According to TOI, Deepika auditioned for a role in Tom Cruise starrer 'The Mummy' franchise's next film. Yes! It's truely incredible, as the actress is currently busy wrapping up Vin Diesel starrer 'xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage'.


Earlier, it was reported that Huma Qureshi too had auditioned for the part. Nothing has been confirmed as of now, however if either of these two make it—we shall feel proud!
