Affleck, 43, who stars as Batman, spoke about the pressure for it to perform well for studio Warner Bros, reported People magazine.

"I think there is a ton of pressure on it. I mean I would be bulling you to say there isn't. If it doesn't do well that will be extremely disappointing," he said.

Doing his best to ensure that the film is a success, the father of three has made the movie his priority, scheduling other filming around "Batman v Superman" due out March 25 as well as another DC spinoff.

Affleck said pushing the film's release date was a smart decision, saying that Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara's involvement in the movie and emphasis on releasing a quality product will have a big pay off.

"I was really impressed by the fact that he cared. It was not like some guys, especially at that level, where it would be, 'We need a franchise movie... We just need a movie with the names 'Batman' and 'Superman' on it and it doesn't matter what it is."
