The film's director Sameer Iqbal Patel told IANS: "Imam's character is quite interesting -- he loves animals, protects them, he is loud and very colourful. I chose Imam carefully as not only can he act, but he adds a certain punch to this character. I gave him full liberty to experiment with his role."

The movie has a dash of humour, says Imam.

"Humour is ethnocentric, so keeping that in mind, we have created humour for the Indian audience. I'm an animal lover, who is funny and little emotional. I was impressed with Hollywood movie 'Zoolander', so I took some of it, mixed it with an Indian tadka and the outcome is amazing," he said.

To be jointly produced by Madhire Ravinder Reddy and Mohammed Aslam Shaikh under the banner of Madhire Film Corporation and Umbrella Film Corporation, ""Hotel Beautifool" is tentatively set to release in April 2015.
