Luke Evans became the latest actor to quit the long-rumoured reboot earlier this year, after Tom Hiddleston and Alexander Skarsgard were previously linked to the project.

Huston, 32, has now entered formal talks with Relativity Studios to lead the movie, reported Deadline.

'The Crow' reboot will re-envision the story of a murdered rock musician who rises from the dead with a mission of vengeance.

Huston is currently filming the big budget historical drama 'Ben-Hur' for MGM.
