Mumbai: Actress Konkona Sensharma's excitement knows no bounds as her upcoming directorial debut, 'A Death in the Gunj', is going to be screened at the coveted Toronto Film Festival 2016.

The 11-day fest will open on September 8. The film will be screened in the special presentation section.


"Thrilled to be in such great company with our film A DEATH IN THE GUNJ!" Konkona, 36, tweeted.


The film is a coming-of-age story, which traces the journey of five individuals who are on a holiday.


It has an ensemble cast including Om Puri, Kalki Koechlin, Vikrant Massey, Gulshan Devaiah, Tanuja Mukherjee, Om Puri, Tillotama Shome, and Konkona's estranged husband Ranvir Shorey.
