New Delhi: Hansal Mehta's upcoming real-life drama 'Aligarh' has released its official trailer. Even before the trailer was out, there was something about the poster that moved us deeply.

Based on the real-life story of a professor in Aligarh Muslim University – the film portrays the struggle of the protagonist because of his sexual orientation. While Manoj Bajpayee will be playing the lead role, Rajkummar Rao will be seen donning the hat of a reporter.  


The movie has already appeared in the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival and received rave reviews.


The trailer was released in Twitter by the makers, and as expected, it promises to be an intense drama, a must-watch. The film releases on February 26, 2016.
