New Delhi: Actress Radhika Apte, known for her straight-forwardness, feels it's better to look upon the quality of a movie than its promotional quantity.

"I think instead of quantity of promotion, if you look at the quality then that will help," she told ANI.


"There are so many films releasing every Friday in our country.so spreading awareness about the movie is somewhere needed. But again, every film promotes a lot nowadays. So, I really don't know how much it helps," she added.


In a connection to this, the off-beat actress added that her recently released 'Phobia' had no such added elements like item dance or promotional song to sell the movie.


"We did not did not do anything like item numbers or promotional songs to sell the movie. We stuck to what we wanted to show and believed in. So it is really nice that it is appreciated," she said.


After garnering praises for her first leading role in ' Phobia,' Radhika will be next seen in ' Kabali' opposite Thalaiva Rajnikanth.
