A lot has been said and written about Shahid's new beardy avatar, where everyone was assuming that to be his Raja look for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's yet another period drama 'Padmavati'. But turns out it's not for the film but for Shahid's own clothing brand. Yes! According to BollywoodLife.com, when a journo quizzed Sasha over his 'look' for 'Padmavati', the 'Haider' actor gave a befitting reply to put an end to all the rumours. This happened at the sidelines of MAMI film festival in Mumbai.


Shahid was quoted as saying, “Abey raja aise lagte the? Teen din pehle maine mera brand launch kiya tha, SKULT. Toh maine uske kapde pehne hue hai. Raja Rawal Ratan banke thodi aaonga MAMI film festival mein.”


He even quashed all the rumours of having a fight with Ranveer Singh. He said, “I’m happy Padmavati has gotten cast the way it has. It’s not a two hero film, it has 3 principal characters. I wish Padmavati came to me 5 years ago. Feel lucky to be a part of Bhansali’s project.”
