Titled "1920 London", the movie is the third film in the franchise, whose previous installments were "1920 Evil Returns" and "1920".

There were reports that the film, helmed by debut director Tinu Desai, was stuck in some production issues. The actor, however, says the film will come out sometime in March or April 2016.

"My next film will be '1920 London'. It's in horror genre, something which I've never attempted. It is directed by Tinu Desai and written by Vikram Bhatt. The movie should release sometime March-April next year," Sharman told PTI.

"1920 London" also stars actress Priyanka Chopra's cousin Meera, who was seen in last year's paranormal-comedy "Gang of Ghosts".

"1920", directed by Vikram Bhatt, was released in 2008 and starred Rajneesh Duggal and Adah Sharma. The 2012 sequel, "1920 Evil Returns" was helmed by Bhushan Patel and had Aftab Shivdasani, Tia Bajpai, Sharad Kelker and Vidya Malvade in the lead.
