Teenager Renee suffers from addiction and substance abuse, as well as bipolar disorder. The film also stars Chad Michael Murray ('One Tree Hill'), Rupert Friend ('Homeland') and Corbin Bleu ('High School Musical').
The story of the film inspired the charity group of the same name, which is documented in the drama. 'To Write Love on Her Arms' will be released in March 2015.
