New Delhi: The magnificent sets and striking character appearances have earned brownie points for the much-awaited movie of 2015, 'Bombay Velvet'.

Helmed by ace director Anurag Kashyap, the movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar (who will be seen acting on-screen after 'Dimwale Dulhania Le Jayenge').

Anurag took to Twitter to reveal the making of the 'Bombay Velvet' story. The video which shows the making of the film looks splendid and breathtaking. It highlights the amount of brainstorming that must be the key to it's amazing retro feel.

Starting with one man's dream, the movie took around 8 years of writing and research along with a huge chunk of time consumed in pre-production.

Anurag has undoubtedly given another lens to film making with his effort put in his dream called 'Bombay Velvet'. The intrigue and curiosity created by trailers and songs is a notch higher.

The distinctly anticipated Bollywood flick is set to hit the silver screens on May 15, 2015.
