But latest reports suggest that the biopic is very much on the anvil and that Ranbir will start shooting for the film in January next year.

According to a Bollywoodlife.com report, Sanjay was initially extremely thrilled about the film. He narrated personal details about his life to Rajkumar Hirani but eventually felt betrayed after the third instalment of the popular ‘Munna Bhai’ series was postponed because of the biopic.

A few reports also hinted that Dutt wanted a share in the profit but it seems that the dust has settled.

Ranbir may reportedly start shooting for the biopic in January after a break of a couple of months. He is presently busy promoting his film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which is slated to release this Diwali. And ahead of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ release next year, RK may be busy with the Dutt film.

This is certainly good news for RK fans.
