Adele`s `Hello` is shaping up to be one of the biggest hits of 2015 after its music video shattered Vevo`s most single-day views record with more than 27 million plays in its first 24 hours.
Los Angeles: Adele's "Hello" is shaping up to be one of the biggest hits of 2015 after its music video shattered Vevo's most single-day views record with more than 27 million plays in its first 24 hours.
The record was previously held by Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood". The star-studded visuals for the former country star's "1989" track was premiered on Vevo last May and garnered around 20.1 million views in the first 24 hours, reported Ace Showbiz.
Adele's new music video was directed by filmmaker Xavier Dolan and features cameo from "The Wire" actor Tristan Wilds. After four days, the clip has received 79 million plays on Vevo.
"Hello" arrived last Friday, October 23 as the lead cut off Adele's new album "25" which is set to come out on November 20.
To promote the follow-up to her massively successful 2011 record "21", the 27-year-old songstress will visit "Saturday Night Live" as a musical guest in the show's November 21 episode hosted by Matthew McConaughey.
