London: Adele's new album '25' has broken all the British records and 800000 copies have already been sold.

The Official Charts Company stated that Adele's ' 25' has sold 800,307 copies since its release on Friday 20th November and Martin Talbot, chief executive of the company, said that no album had ever sold 800,000 copies to reach No 1 in the history ofBritish music, The Guardian reports.


Earlier, 'Be Here Now' by Oasis held the record for selling 696,000 copies in 1997.


The 'Hello' singer has also become the first artist to sell more than 100,000 digital albums in the first week of release.
