After changing the lyrics to "Love Boat Captain" to honour the victims of the November 13 terror attacks in Paris, the band again paid tribute to those affected by last week's events during their stop in Brazil.

"We've never played this," frontman Eddie Vedder told the crowd in fan-shot video from the show, before launching into the track.

Eagles of Death Metal was playing at Paris' Le Bataclan concert hall when gunmen fired shots inside the venue and took hostages, killing 89 people.

It was just one of a series of terror attacks around Paris that night that left over 120 people dead.
