New Delhi, May 19: Defence Minister George Fernandes continues to get unusual one-line fax messages at his official residence but security agencies are still clueless about the origin of document and the mastermind behind it. Fernandes has been getting one-line fax messages like "colour of terror is red", sources said and added a full-fledged probe had been launched by the security agencies to locate the sender.
Such faxes come almost twice weekly and the sender's identity continued to be shrouded in mystery, security agencies said adding several measures were being taken to locate the origin of the messages. The sources said that the person sending the message was smart enough not to leave any trace behind and was probably using the computer technology to generate the fax.
Recently Fernandes was in for a rude shock on May 5 when a person called his telephone at his residence and showered choicest of abuses. However, in that case, the security agencies were quick to trace the call to Wazirpur industrial area in North Delhi and detained the caller identified as Gyanand Kumar Akhilesh, a native of Fernandes' former parliamentary constituency Muzaffarpur in Bihar.
