Patna, Oct 17: Asserting that Ram Temple could be built at Ayodhya only through an agitation, the Bajrang Dal appealed to the people to reach Ayodhya today in large numbers and take a pledge for building a Temple there.
Dal's national convenor Prakash Sharma, who was here to mobilise support for the movement for construction of temple at Ayodhya, told reporters that after the report of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) the Muslims should have withdrawn their claim over the disputed site but since it appeared that they are not in a mood to do so, a movement for the construction of temple would be launched.
The Bajrang Dal convenor said that the temple movement would be launched in a peaceful and democratic manner but if somebody tried to put barriers in its way he would be given a befitting reply.
Asserting that construction of a temple at Ayodhya was not meant to help any political party but to protect the Hindu tradition, Sharma appealed to all the parties to come forward and contribute in the movement.

On the Rae Bareily court order for framing charges against Union HRD Minister Murli Manohar Joshi and others in the Babri Mosque demolition case, the Bajrang Dal leader said that "we think there is no case relating to Babri Mosque demolition, the December six, 1992 incident is part of the process to build a Ram Temple there".
