Washington, Aug, 09: Davis Love III holds a commanding lead after round two of The International in Colorado. The American made three eagles as he picked up 17 points in the modified Stableford scoring system. Love now has 36 points, 17 ahead of Fijian and 1998 champion Vijay Singh, who collected 15 points on day two, and Kent Jones, who added 14 to his overnight total.
South African Retief Goosen (15) is fourth with 17 points while Britain`s Paul Casey (9) is fifth with 16 points.
The modified Stableford scoring system awards five points for an eagle, two for a birdie, nothing for par, while taking away one point for a bogey and three points for a double bogey.

Love, who was one point shy of the tournament record in the first round on Thursday with 19 points, totalled 15 points with eagles on three of the Castle Pines Golf Club`s four par-fives.

"I`ve played some pretty good rounds back-to-back, but these are two pretty incredible rounds," he said.

"I couldn`t wait to get out there today, after yesterday.

"I felt anything I tried to do, I could do. I got off to a good start and then started making eagles.

A double-bogey at his second-to-last hole, the par-five eighth, marred what otherwise was a day to remember.
