Lucknow, June 03: Twelve people, including 11 women, were killed and 10 others injured when the truck, in which they were travelling, overturned near Kone in Sonebhadra district today, police said here. The injured, three of them in serious condition, were admitted to the district hospital, police said.

The ill-fated truck, carrying labourers, turned turtle when the driver lost control, they said adding the labourers were going to collect tendu leaves from a nearby forest.
