New Delhi, Sept 03: Indian golfers fared miserably and slipped to ninth position at the end of the second day of the Asian Pacific Amateur Golf Championship for the Nomura Cup at Port Dougles, Australia.
The team of Vikrant Chopra, Shiv Kapur, Simarjeet Singh and Keshav Misra returned identical cards of 77 (+) 6 over par and slipped six places from the third position they had after the opening day.
New Zealand continues to lead the field with a two-stroke advantage over hosts Australia. Japan is placed third, according to a press release by the Indian Golf Union here today.
