Haryana CM allots Rs. 400 crore for health services
Gurgaon, July 24: Haryana has allocated Rs 400 crore this fiscal for health services and claims to be the first state in the country to provide 254 types of medicines free to patients in government hospitals, according to Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala.

Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating a cricket stadium here yesterday, Chautala said his government was committed to providing basic facilities like education and drinking water to the people.
He said all-out efforts were being made to provide efficient irrigation facilities to the people of Mewat area and an ambitious Rs 400-crore-project had been forwarded to the central government for providing sufficient drinking water facilities in the area. With the implementation of the project, there would be no drinking water problem in the area, he added.
