HC asks cassettes on Ayodhya excavation to be made into CDs
Lucknow, Nov 05: The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court hearing ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid title suits today directed the ASI team, which had undertaken excavation at the disputed site in Ayodhya, to convert the 13 digital cassettes pertaining to digging into compact discs and furnish 10 of these sets to the court.

directed the ASI team, which had undertaken excavation at the
disputed site in Ayodhya, to convert the 13 digital cassettes
pertaining to digging into compact discs and furnish 10 of
these sets to the court.
The special/full bench comprising Justice Bhanwar Singh,
Justice Khemkaran and Justice S R Alam gave the direction to
the leader of the Archaelogical Survey of India (ASI) team,
Hari Majhi.
Meanwhile, two Muslim plaintiffs today filed supplementary objections on the ASI's report pertaining to the excavation.
Haji Mahboob and Haji Abdul Ahad submitted that the ASI's report on excavation had been prepared under influence of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani.
The hearing would continue tomorrow.
