Solapur, May 18: Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde today said the burden of Rs 83,000 crore loan has created a critical economic situation for the state. "But my government is trying to come out of this situation. And our efforts are showing encouraging results," Shinde said. He is here for electioneering for May 21 South Solapur assembly by-poll, where he is contesting as Congress nominee against BSP rival Sanjeev Sadafule and two independents. Electronic voting machines would be used in all 234 booths spread over 217 villages and the counting would be on May 24. Bureau Report
