Mumbai, Oct 18: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (Maharashtra) unit today warned the Uttar Pradesh government of "serious consequences" over the arrest of VHP General Secretary Praveen Togadia. "The Uttar Pradesh government will face serious consequences for detaining Togadia and ill-treating him", VHP (Maharashtra) secretary, Venkatesh Abdeo said in a statement here. Togadia, was today detained at Amausi airport while heading towards Ayodhya to attend a meeting of the outfit. Bureau Report
