Madurai, Aug 15: Two owners of a soft drinks factory were arrested by police for allegedly manufacturing spurious drinks of popular brands, including Pepsi, Coke, Fanta and Bovonto at Azhagar Koil near here last night, police said here today.
The soft drinks factory, located in a house, was manufacturing thousands of bottles and was distributing these to shops in rural areas and at bus stands here and adjoining areas, they said.
Police also seized equipments worth several lakhs of Rupees used in manufacturing the drinks. Bureau Rport
