Kathmandu, Nov 22: A mild tremor measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale today jolted the Pokhara Valley, a popular tourist destination in western Nepal, but no damage or injuries were reported.

The tremor lasted for 20 seconds at 10:52 am (1007 IST) and panicked residents of the valley, which is a major gateway for trekkers in the Himalayas, the Department of Mines and Geology said in a statement.
