New Delhi, Nov 21: . A day after the Congress renamed the Bharatiya Janata Party the "Bangaru Judev Party", the BJP today retorted saying that the PCC [Pradesh Congress Committee] stood for "Party for Corruption and Conspiracy."
The BJP spokesperson, Prakash Javadekar, went further: He said that each alphabet in the word "Congress" stood for crimes — "C is for corruption, O for opportunism, N for nepotism, G for goondaism, R for rape, E for enmity and the two Ss for scam and scandal."
Mr. Javadekar said the Maharashtra Governor, Mohammed Fazal, had written to the State Government suggesting that the Telgi scandal involving fake stamp papers be handed over to the CBI. But the Government was resisting the move. "Why is the Congress Government refusing? zaroor dal mein kuch kala hai. Surely, there is some whiff of a scandal, that is why they do not want a CBI probe," he added.
