Mumbai, June 07: Lupin is planning to launch Cefixime tablets and suspension in the US under the Suprax brand. The company would sell this brand in the US under an exclusive arrangement and the product would be launched after receiving the final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration, Lupin informed the Stock Exchange, Mumbai here.

The company has filed two abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) for Ceflxime in the first half of 2002-03. Lupin would manufacture the API and finished product at its Mandideep plant, it added. Bureau Report
