J&K govt proposes 20 pc hike in district plan for Budgam
Srinagar, Sept 04: Jammu and Kashmir government has proposed a hike of 20 per cent in the district plan for Budgam at Rs 59 crore for execution of development process and implementation of welfare schemes during the current financial year.
Srinagar, Sept 04: Jammu and Kashmir government has proposed a hike of 20 per cent in the district plan for Budgam at Rs 59 crore for execution of development process and implementation of welfare schemes during the current financial year.
State Revenue Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen told a
meeting of district officers and legislators yesterday that it
is proposed to spend Rs 29.42 crore for social and general
service sectors.
For agriculture and allied sectors, Rs 12 crore have been proposed for the current financial year, while for roads and buildings and industries sector, the officers and legislators suggested an amount of Rs 13 crore, official sources said. Yaseen asked the officers to adopt responsive attitude towards mitigating problems of the people besides ensuring judicious use of funds by way of quality work.
