Guntur, June 12: Andhra Pradesh government is planning to make Hyderabad the country's `health destination', state minister for health and medical services Dr K Sivaprasada Rao said today. "The (state) government, in right earnest, would create the necessary infrastructure and provide modern equipment for the purpose and I am confident, we will achieve our objective soon," Rao said here after inaugurating a workshop on `Advanced Cardiac Life Saving System'. The workshop was jointly organised by Apollo Hospital and the local Government General Hospital. Underscoring the need for providing prompt medical aid to accident victims, the minister said a special ambulance with a doctor and latest medical equipment has been pressed into service on the recently converted four-lane 90-km stretch of Chennai-Kolkata National Highway, between Yadlapadu and Tadepalli, in the district.
