Mumbai, Dec 03: A team of the national security guards today carried out a detailed investigation into the wreckage of last night's explosion at Ghatkopar and defused an explosive recovered in another bus at SEEPZ in Andheri in suburban Mumbai. The experts arrived from New Delhi this morning to assist the Mumbai police in examining the nature of explosive used in the blast, polices sources said here.
The blast, in a bus at Ghatkopar, in north-east Mumbai, had claimed two lives and left 31 injured.
The NSG team, along with the city bomb disposal squad, defused the explosive recovered in a best bus at SEEPZ in Andheri late last night, they said.

The adjacent buildings at SEEPZ were evacuated this morning even as the fire brigade personnel threw a cordon around the area.
The team spent nearly 40 minutes before the gelatin sticks and the time detonator were separated from the bomb, which could have caused serious damage, sources said.
