Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf, on Monday gave detailed briefing of his recent visit to India and his summit talks with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to corps commanders of Pakistan army. Presiding over a two-day meeting of corps commanders and principle staff officers of the army, which began at the military headquarters at Rawalpindi on Monday, Musharraf explained in detail his talks with Vajpayee during the last month's summit at Agra, an official statement in Islamabad said. Musharraf also addressed the corps commanders meeting before he left for India and obtained their backing on the proposed issues. Monday's meeting also discussed the ongoing local body elections and the progress made in the power generation and distribution sector under the army regime. Bureau Report
