Single board computer for Intel processor
Bangalore, May 19:Force computers, a Solectron company and a leader in embedded computing, has announced its CPCI-745 compactpci (CPCI) Single Board Computer (SBC) configured for the Intel Pentium M processor running at 1.60 ghz -- with a high mips-per-watt capability and feature and pin-compatibility to its predecessor SBC, the Cpici-740.

configured for the Intel Pentium M processor running at 1.60 ghz -- with a high mips-per-watt capability and feature and pin-compatibility to its predecessor SBC, the cpici-740.
In addition, it offers the Intel E7501 chipset -- the highest performance technology of its kind currently available -- enabling 4.3 bytes per second total system bandwidth, a force computers release said.
"Targeted at advanced telecom and control-plane
applications, the cpci-745 provides robust server class
performance within a reliable single-slot power envelope,"
said T S Ushasri, MD, force computers, India.
