Srinagar, Oct 23: Describing Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani's proposed talks with Hurriyat Conference as "time buying tactics", radical women's outfit Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) today said the dialogue will not have any bearing on the Kashmir issue. "They (centre) have been using these tactics for long now. This is not the first time", DeM chief Asiya Andrabi told reporters here.
She said the proposed talks between Hurriyat Conference led by Maulana Mohammad Abbas Ansari and Advani "would not have any effect on the Kashmir issue... Both India and Pakistan are under US pressure and yesterday's announcement by the centre is just time buying tactics".
Describing Kashmir as an Islamic problem, Andrabi said both Hurriyat factions led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Ansari cannot talk on behalf of Kashmiri people as they were not familiar with Islamic politics and its history.
Asserting that Pakistan no more represented the aspirations of the Muslim world, she said "it cannot talk for Muslims. It is acting under the directions from CIA of United States. Mujahideen who had taken refuge in Pakistan are being killed at the behest of us masters of Pakistani rulers".
On the relevance of UN resolutions on Kashmir, Andrabi said its non-fulfillment even after 56 years has led to armed insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir.
She asked Kashmiri youths to boycott the "obscene" and "indecent" shows of Bollywood stars in the valley organised to "mislead" them.
