Dubai, June 23: The Indian High School, Dubai has become the first educational institution in the Gulf to be awarded the prestigious ISO 9001-2000 certification for maintaining high standards. The certification by Lloyds Register of Britain acknowledges the quality management system and the contribution of the Indian community-run school in giving international quality education to expatriates.
A Lloyds representative handed over the certificate to school chairman Ram Buxani at a function here yesterday.
Opened in 1961, the school with CBSE syllabi has 8,300 students and a staff strength of 675. Bureau Report
