Amethi, May 17: Congress president Sonia Gandhi today concluded her three-day visit to her parliamentary constituency after an interaction with a cross-section of the people and a visit to Gajanpur village where a devastating fire had gutted several houses recently. She listened to the grievances of the people of her constituency and also accepted their representations at the Munshi Ganj Guest House where a large number of people had gathered since early morning to meet her.

A beaming Gandhi freely mingled with the women and children at Chandauki, Shadipur, Keshavpur, Pindara, Gunnaur and Nevada villages she visited on the last day of her visit. She also inspected the houses of the families affected by the fire at Gajanpur village and inquired about the well being of the villagers.

Gandhi congratulated the workers of the youth Congress for completing the reconstruction of the gutted houses on time as the task was given to the youth wing of the party. During her three-day visit, the AICC president met a large number of people of her constituency and addressed block unit workers of the party.
