Dehradun, May 30: Dehradun recorded the hottest day of the season today with mercury soaring to 39.2 degree Celsius, forcing people to mostly remain indoors in the Doon Valley which normally receives frequent rains keeping the climate pleasant. The weathermen said the temperature may further rise in the days to come.
Dehradun this month recorded only 31 mm of rainfall, which was 20 mm less than the normal.
