Jammu, Sept 07: After BSNL's Cellone mobile service, "cheaper" Reliance mobile service is all set to be launched in Jammu and Kashmir to give a better choice to people, official sources said here today. A Reliance mobile service cheaper than BSNL's Cellone service will now come to Jammu and Kashmir to give people a better choice, sources said.

This was decided at a meeting of state officials with Reliance some time back in Mumbai during a business meeting, they added. The mobile service of reliance is cheaper then BSNL's service, the sources said adding Reliance call is 40 paisa per minute and BSNL's Rs 2.40 per minute.

"People of Jammu and Kashmir would be happy to have this service here and we would get a choice," they said adding that Reliance would have also better coverage area than BSNL's 14 township areas, where there is mobile facility. The BSNL has recently launched Cellone service in the state where they would be giving 42,000 mobile connections. Bureau Report
