Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 19; In an effort to find a way out of the present political crisis in Congress in the state, Kerala Chief Minister A K Antony today held discussions with KPCC President K Muraleedharan here today. Both the leaders closeted for some time when they came to participate at a function organised as part of Indira Gandhi's birthday celebrations at Indira Bhavan, state party headquarters. Later, Antony told reporters after a cabinet meeting that he took the initiative for the talks, but refused to divulge the details of what transpired between them.
The talks were very cordial, Antony said.

The issues in the party would be resolved through talks, Antony said, adding, the party had come out "without any bruise" during worse situations than this.
