New Delhi,Sept 27: Vowing to wage a legal battle to clear himself in the Babri masjid demolition case, Union Human Resources Development Minister Murli Manohar Joshi on Saturday said he would file a petition against the Rae Bareilly court verdict. The petition will be filed on Monday in the Allahabad High Court. "If the people's sentiments are strong, it becomes God's voice. Temple will be constructed at the birth place," Joshi, who quit the government in the wake of Rae Bareily court deciding to charge him along with six others in the Babri Masjid demolition case, told a group of BJP activists from Uttaranchal. Crore of people desired that the Ram temple should be constructed at his birth place in Ayodhya, he told some people who had gathered at his residence to extend solidarity with him. Stating that he derived support from the people, Joshi hoped that he would come out clean in the false charges levelled against him. Later talking to reporters, he said he would "certainly" meet Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee after his return from abroad on Sunday. Asked whether he would take back his resignation if asked by Prime Minister, Joshi said, "Let us see what he does. Don't ask any hypothetical question".
