Amarinder rules out forthwith arrest of Badal
Ajmer, Oct 19: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today ruled out immediate arrest of ex-chief minister Prakash Singh Badal and asserted that any action against him would be taken only after the receipt of probe-report.

Talking to newspersons at this shrine city in Rajasthan, captain Amarinder Singh said that several criminal cases including that of corruption had been registered against Mr Badal.
He alleged that Mr Badal had grabbed ''benami'' land properties in border districts of desert state adjoining Punjab and an inquiry had been going on in this respect.
He declared that in the event of Mr Badal's arrest, he would be put in an ordinary jail instead of keeping him under house arrest.
