Srinagar, June 13: Leader of the opposition in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah, met newly appointed governor Lt Gen (Retd) S K Sinha and discussed matters pertaining to the political and developmental scenario in the state, sources said today. The hour-long meeting last evening took place at the instance of the governor, they said. Shah, a minister in the previous National Conference government, expressed hope that Sinha's assuming office would prove a harbinger of peace and prosperity for the state. Bureau Report
