Back in a trio format, the former Stray Cats leader plays his trademark rockabilly guitar across the set's 12 tracks, and even adds banjo to one.
Drummer Bernie Dresel and bassist Johnny "Spaz" Hatton join him on the set. The former is a longtime member of Setzer's big band and '69 Comeback Special trio; Hatton appeared on the Brian Setzer Orchestra's 2002 Christmas album.
Following a Japanese tour in late October, Setzer will kick off a 17-date big-band holiday tour Nov. 28 in Washington, D.C. The tour will include a Dec. 3 appearance in New York's Rockefeller Center for NBC's annual Christmas tree lighting special.
