Sinha, 97, who joined the non-cooperation movement at the clarion call of Gandhiji, was imprisoned several times by the British government.
According to the sources in Nagaon-Rajshahi Sammilani, a forum of freedom fighters with which Sinha was associated, he maintained close links with revolutionaries in the pre-independence period. Bureau Report
