Sudershan flays PM, says talks with Pak on Kashmir futile
Jammu, June 29: Terming initiation of dialogue process with Pakistan as a `futile exercise`, RSS chief K S Sudershan charged Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee with `lacking clarity in vision` on the Kashmir issue and said it was `not fair` on the part of the government to adopt a give and take policy to resolve it.
Jammu, June 29: Terming initiation of dialogue process with Pakistan as a "futile exercise", RSS chief K S Sudershan charged Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee with "lacking clarity in vision" on the Kashmir issue and said it was "not fair" on the part of the government to adopt a give and take policy to resolve it.
"We have nothing to give as Pakistan has already taken Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir and now we have to take it back", he said at a valedictory function of a training camp of 'swayamsewaks' here yesterday.
Charging the Prime Minister with "lacking clarity of thought on the issue", Sudershan asked "what give and take? Will Pakistan agree to our taking back of POK?"
Vajpayee and Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani had in recent statements talked about need for compromise from both sides to resolve the Kashmir issue.
Stating that Pakistan's policy was based on hatred for India, the RSS chief said politicians in that country understood it quite well and would not stop aiding and abetting violence in our country.
Sudershan said people of both India and Pakistan want peace but the leadership in Islamabad would not allow friendship between the two countries as it would pose a threat to their survival.
