Shimla, Oct 14: Himachal Pradesh government has declared 'Karva Chauth' falling on October 25 as a gazetted holiday for women employees. It will be holiday only for women staff working in government offices, boards, corporations and other semi-government offices, an official release here said.
The release added that it would also be holiday for women employees under the negotiable instrument act 1881 and applicable to daily wages also. Bureau Report
