New Delhi, July 09: After PNB, Oriental Bank of Commerce on Monday partnered with Wipro and Infosys for centralised banking solution. This is part of the Delhi-based bank’s plan to provide anywhere anytime banking to its customers. The bank will invest Rs 280 crore. Infosys will provide total banking software solution and Wipro hardware and equipment. The centralised banking will be implemented initially at 25 branches by March ’04. Further, 200 more branches will be added annually. The bank has also tied up with NCR for networking and installation of 200 ATMs.The aim is to cover 500 branches under centralised banking in the next two and half years in metro, urban and semi-urban areas Bureau Report
