Chennai, June 15: Apollo Hospitals tonight said it had taken every possible step for the management and care of Union Minister Murasoli Maran's condition in consultation with Indian and international specialists, during his treatment in the hospital, before he was shifted to Methodists Hospital, Houston in the US. "Apollo has done what any of the best institutions in the world would have done in such difficult clinical conditions. This was also testified by the Methodist Hospital doctors" the hospitals chairman Dr Pratap C Reddy, said here in a statement while reacting to DMK president m Karunanidhi's demand for a probe into the method of treatment given to Maran.
