Lucknow, Oct 05: Former Uttar Pradesh minister Amarmani Tripathi, arrested in the Madhumita Shukla murder case, was today sent to two days judicial custody by a local court here.
Tripathi, whose CBI remand expired today, was produced before additional district judge Farooq Umar who sent him to jail till tomorrow.
The former minister would be produced tomorrow before the CBI court trying the murder case.

CBI had arrested Tripathi on September 21 in connection with the murder of the young poetess here on may nine after his DNA tests matched those of the feotus of Madhumita.

His bail application would also come up for hearing tomorrow.
