Notorious criminal surrenders in Bihar
Patna, Nov 26: Notorious criminal Anant Singh alias Chhote Sarkar, who allegedly created a reign of terror in the riverine belt of Barh, has surrendered before a court, police said today.

Anant Singh, brother of former Bihar minister Dilip Singh, gave himself up before the court of sub-divisional
magistrate in Barh, the home constituency of Railway Minister Nitish Kumar, yesterday. He was forwarded to jail custody.
He was evading arrest for the past one-decade, police said. Anant is allegedly involved in more than 40 cases of abduction and murder.
